Rally at the State Capitol on Wednesday at 11am to Fight Extreme Budget Cuts Proposed by Republican Leaders in Legislature

According to the Coalition for Solutions Through Higher Education, we are not producing enough educated, highly skilled workers to effectively compete in today’s global, knowledge-based economy.  This crisis is especially acute in Arizona, which trails the rest of the nation in college completion and other key measures of educational performance.  In a week when we loose our Democratic Governor, the Arizona Legislature announces large cuts in funding for higher education.  Come on February 4th and discuss this situation with members of the Coalition and learn what we can do to fight the legislature.  The discussion will be preceded by Election of Officers.  To vote, be sure your dues are up to date!
