DFA-MC is is joining the Election Integrity community in presenting the author Richard Hayes Phillips to speak on his book Witness to a Crime: a Citizens Audit of an Election at 7pm on September 27, 2008 at UA Local 469, 3109 N. 24th Street, Phoenix Arizona. I read Cracking the Code by Thom Hartmann and found it very interesting but I don’t know how well I can apply any of it. Another is Armed Madhouse by Greg Palast. So far I have read chapters from this book.

I’m about halfway into “The Political Brain” by Drew Westen and find it very informative on presenting the Democratic message. It is a must read for candidates and anyone who is seeking a persuasive voice when speaking on the issues. The focus is on the role of emotion and is corollary to framing.
